   Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Grant

The board, staff and volunteers of the ReUseIt Center and Mid-Valley Neighborhood Improvement Association, Inc., express their heartfelt gratitude for a recent grant  received from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA).   A large portion of the grant monies were used towards education and outreach to our local community to increase awareness of the ReUseIt Center.  Because of the generous support of the IEPA, the ReUseIt Center is able to continue our mission of keeping tons of building materials out of the landfills.  To date, the center has exceeded diverting 220 tons since September of 2005.  Thank you again to the IEPA for being such a gracious and generous supporter of our work for the community!
