Donating cash to
the ReUseIt Center |
|
|
|
The ReUseIt Center not only benefits our environment while beautifying our homes, it enhances the whole community!
Your financial support allows the ReUseIt Center to successfully operate. Because of your generous support, we have completed our first full year of business! Moreover, your cash donation supports all of the vital community efforts of our parent organization, Mid-Valley Neighborhood Improvement Association, Inc.
Together we have managed to divert an amazing amount of tonnage (231+ tons to date!) from our landfills to protect our environment and to make home improvement fun and affordable for everyone in our community! Your continued support will also provide for the neediest homeowners in our community, ensuring continued economic vitality throughout the community.
You can make a donation to MVNIA and ReUseIt
Center by clicking on the button above. We use the secure payment
processing services of PayPal® to accept your donation. Be sure to indicate your address if you would like a receipt sent to you via snail mail for your income tax records.
Together we can enhance the community, one residence at a time! |
Donating materials to
the ReUseIt Center |
ReUseIt Center accepts new and used building materials from contractors,
suppliers, individuals, remodelers and property managers. Only ReUseIt
managers can determine if items will be saleable at the Center and
we reserve the right to turn down material if the ReUseIt Center
staff determines that the item offered would not sell well at the
Center.
- Building Material Donations. For best results, please call first before delivering items that
may not be acceptable or if we have an overstock issue for that particular item. We prefer that donors include delivery of
the materials to the store as part of their donation, so please
indicate if you are able to deliver your donation to the ReUseIt
Center when you call. We rent a truck once a week so your ability to deliver the donation to us is much appreciated! (Please call store manager for details)
- Delivery Donations. There are occasions we can deliver an item purchased at ReUseIt. Depending on the size of the purchase and the distance involved, suggested donations for this service start at $25. (Please call store manager for details)
Delivery donations offset our truck rental and rising gas costs. If these costs create a hardship for you, please let us know. Cash donations will be accepted at time of pickup by written check or online here using your VISA/Mastercard. If you need a letter for your tax preparer, please let us know.
Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of this program!

Recycling Donations at ReUseIt!
ReUseIt is now recycling cell phones, personal printer ink cartridges and rechargeable batteries.
Our cell phone fundraiser program is sponsored by Shelter Alliance (www.shelteralliance.net), a program of cell phone recycling company GRC Wireless Recycling (www.grcrecycling.com). Through Shelter Alliance, nonprofit organizations raise funds through the collection & recycling of used cell phones, and businesses & consumers donate & recycle cell phones to benefit nonprofit participants.
Bring us your personal printer ink cartridges, and we will raise funds through our partnership with Think Green. Check out their website for a complete listing of acceptable ink cartridges. Or bring your cartridges to us and we will check for you!
Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation is our sponsor for our battery fundraising program. We are collecting assorted rechargeables such as those found in cordless power tools, cellular and cordless phones, laptop computers, camcorders, digital cameras, and remote control toys.
Batteries can be nickel cadmium, lithium ion, nickel metal hydride and small sealed lead.
Thank you ahead of time for bringing us your recyclables! |
